Kernow Confectionery Ltd
Kernow Confectionery is a small private, family run company, owned by Alex and Jayne Shapland, Nicola and Andy Soden, Phil Shapland and Vicki Roper.
We pride ourselves in making only the highest quality chocolate products using the best quality Belgian Chocolate, which is imported direct from Belgium. We temper and mould the chocolate in a wide variety of shapes and bars.
The company is situated on our farm in St Eval, a small village not far from the picturesque Bedruthan Steps. We have been making chocolate in our purpose built factory since January 2005 and have a retail outlet in the estuary town of Wadebridge, called Kernow Harvest. We were granted a Fairtrade licence in May 2007 and have the pleasure of including these products on our website. We also have a wide range of do-it-yourself wedding favours which have proven to be very popular. You choose your choice of fudge and chocolates, your size and colour of favour boxes and we send it to you to pack and finish yourself.
As always we are more than happy to help with an enquiry and if you have any requests please get in contact with us as we might be able to make it for you.

Buttermilk Confections Ltd
Buttermilk Confections is a small private company owned by Jim and Christine Goad, who are one of the last traditional confectionery makers left.
They pride themselves in making only the highest quality confectionery. Their range of products includes Traditional Cream Fudge, Cornish Butter Tablet, Coconut Ice, Peanut Brittle, Turkish Delight and Marzipans.
The company is based in Wadebridge, North Cornwall and has two shops, one on
Llanadwell Street in Padstow and one in the centre of Port Isaac. Both are called The Buttermilk Shop. The fudge is also sold throughout Cornwall and Devon by other retailers and from this website.

All the confectionery is made to the highest standards and for the past 45 years has been made in Padstow until July 2006 when they moved the factory to new premises in Wadebridge. The ingredients are always the best available and are put together using traditional recipes with great care and skill. The fudge is then hand cut and packed in various different ways.

Our Shipping Policy
IF GOODS ARE REQUIRED FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION (BIRTHDAYS, VALENTINES, ETC) PLEASE ORDER A MINIMUM OF 5 WORKING DAYS BEFORE THE DATE NEEDED. We currently ship our products to the United Kingdom and Europe. We regret we are unable to ship outside of these areas due to product liability insurance limitations.
All orders are freshly made to ensure the products arrive with the maximum possible shelf life, so please allow a few days between ordering and enquiring about delivery times.
Please Note any orders wrongly placed for outside Europe will be subject to a 5% handling charge.
Shipping costs are worked out by weight. This cost is automatically calculated when you add an item to your shopping basket.

Refunds
If you are not delighted with your purchase you
have the right to cancel within seven days of your purchase, or seven days from the receipt of the goods (whichever is longer). If you cancel your order you will have your payment returned, provided you return your goods to us at the address shown on the contact us page.
